KVK Parbhani plays a crucial role in agro-processing and value addition by establishing food processing units for pulses, sorghum, and oilseeds, increasing shelf life and market value. It empowers farm women through agribusiness training in pickle making, jaggery production, and dairy processing, while also supporting SHGs and women-led startups to strengthen rural economies.

The center collaborates with government and private agencies, working with Agriculture Dept. and Animal Husbandry Departments to provide farmer training, subsidies, and financial aid. Partnerships with ATMA, NABARD, Dept. Skill Development and Employment, Dept of Sericulture, MAVIM, Reliance Foundation, etc to ensure the transfer of advanced technologies, policy implementation, food quality standards, and expanded market access for exportable farm products.

Committed to low-cost, eco-friendly, and resource-efficient farming, KVK promotes organic inputs, natural farming, mechanization, and precision farming. It supports micro-irrigation, INM, crop rotation, cover cropping, agroforestry, biopesticides, and biofertilizers, strengthening soil health and biodiversity while ensuring long-term agricultural sustainability
The center also strengthens Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs), enabling collective bargaining, direct market access, and business development. It boosts farmers' profitability through export-oriented commodity production, including certified organic cotton, premium pulses, value-added millets, processed oilseeds, and enhanced dairy and poultry products. Additionally, it promotes composite fish culture in farm ponds to diversify income sources.
